What academies usually ask before they start.
Who is Acatudy for?
Tutoring and test prep centers, language and music schools, driver's ed, career training and online schools: any academy that teaches, assesses and charges its students.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan never expires, doesn't require a credit card, and includes unlimited students with 10 GB of storage (uploaded files are deleted after 90 days of inactivity). When you need more courses, space, or features, switch to a paid monthly or annual plan (save 20 %).
What's the difference between practice tests and exams?
Practice tests are for learning: students can repeat them as often as they like and they never affect the grade. Exams are official: timed, with dates and attempt limits, and they're the ones that are scored.
Can I import my Moodle courses or my questions from Excel?
Yes. You can import Moodle course backups (.mbz), students from Google Classroom or a spreadsheet, and questions from Excel or CSV. The guides walk you through each step.
How do students pay me?
You connect your own Stripe account and sell courses or subscriptions, with coupons if you like. Acatudy's fee depends on your plan (Free 5%, Basic 2%, Professional 1%, Institutional 0%), plus Stripe's processing fees.
Do I need to buy hosting or a server?
No. Hosting, updates and the HTTPS certificate are included in every plan, and we back up the whole platform every night. On top of that, Professional keeps restorable backups of your academy for the last 7 days, and Institutional for the last month. Connect your domain, or use yourname.acatudy.com, and your academy is up and running.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, from the Basic plan. Your academy starts at yourname.acatudy.com; to use your own domain, like learn.youracademy.com, you add one DNS record and HTTPS turns on by itself.
Can my teachers have their own logins?
Yes. Invite each teacher and assign them subjects. They manage content, assignments and grades for those subjects only.
Do I need technical skills?
No. Everything is set up from your admin panel, and the step-by-step guides show every screen. The platform and the student area work in English, Spanish, French and Italian.
